What is an escape room ?

Escape Rooms are live-interactive adventure games. Your team is "trapped" in a themed room where you search for clues, solve puzzles, open locks and try to escape in 60 minutes or less.

Who should play ?

You, of course. Escape rooms are really for anyone who wants to experience the adrenaline of a time based escape game. It is the perfect alternative to the same ole same ole activities.

Do you serve alcohol ?

Believe it or not this is one of the most commonly asked questions. No we do not serve alcohol and please do not come under the influence (drunk). We reserve the right to refuse anyone we feel is a risk. However, we do recommend that if would like a drink visit one of our friends right here on the strand or boardwalk.

Do I have to make a reservation online ?

Yes .... and no! It's very convenient and prevents double booking. We also advise you book your game as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. Check availability and reserve your game. You are welcome to try a walk-in game but you will be asked to register online with our convenient kiosk. Walk-ins must be there 30 mins before the next game.

What is your cancellation policy ?

iEscape Rooms will do our best to accommodate rescheduling your reservation given a 48-HOUR notice prior to your reserved game time. During inclement weather conditions that force us to close, all parties will be rescheduled or provided a full credit via gift voucher at your request.

Is it possible to reschedule a game ?

All appointment changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled game time and can be done online through our website. There are NO RESCHEDULING OPPORTUNITIES OR REFUNDS allowed after this time.

What if I am running late ?

We recommend you arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled game time to check-in. If your whole party is late the game time will be shortened accordingly. If you are part of a group that has already started you may enter the room and play the remaining time. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR BEING LATE.

Are children allowed to play ?

Anyone 18 and over can play alone but must sign a waiver form.

Minors ages 14-17 can play alone but must have a parent sign a waiver.

Children ages 8-13 must have one participating adult playing with them or present onsite.

If you have children under the age of 8 please call us and make special arrangements.

How many can play a game ?

The maximum number of players per game is dictated by the game itself and can be seen in the room descriptions.

Is there a dress code ?

Yes, being at the beach we understand things are a bit more casual but we require dry clothes, shirt and shoes (flip-flops are o.k., we are at the beach)

Where do I park ?

The Town of Carolina Beach has metered (between 8 a.m. & 7 p.m.) parking spaces along N Lake Park Blvd and the surrounding side streets as well as a public parking lot 1 block away on the corner of Harper Ave. and Canal Dr.
